For my Interaction Design course, we were tasked with updating and redesigning a local artists' studio website. Folkinart studio is a creative space for painting and print making, as well as occasionally holding small group or individual lessons. Artist Julie Wall struggled with having the time and know-how to create an effective website so our class was happy to assist. As a member of the website design team, I updated the home page to make it more welcoming and visually appealing, incorporated an events and shop tab, and a contact page. Julie was very pleased with the updated website and grateful to have a more functional website that better suited her needs. In addition to the website redesign, our class also produced high quality photos and marketing materials for Julie to Use in the future.
